CRACK!

Crack is the newest craze for us ladies and even the most fabulous and divalicious gentlemen. Usually the usage of crack is frowned upon but not in this case. Lol that's because I'm not referring to the crack cocaine that you snort. I'm talking about nail crack. The nail polish that has a mind of it's own. You simply put it on and it cracks all by itself. Isn't that cool? I love nail polish and all things funky and girly! And this is no exception. Of course some of your favorite celebrities are all over this. Katy Perry has her own version with OPI. I know Lala Vasquez has been spotted rocking her favorite cracked color. And I've also noticed that recently every girl has given up the traditional way of filing her nails, acrylic, and/or wrap. They now look to the way Rhianna files her nails which is more of an avant garde pointy. I tried this out back when I used to rock the acrylic. I remeber my friends looking at me like I was crazy for wanting my nails like that. Even Amy my old nail tecnician thought it was strange. But NOWWW everybody likes it. MHMM I see you guys. I need some CRACK in my life!

Have you ever felt like you had to prove yourself? Like all the odds were against you? That nobody understood you or your reasons for doing certain things? Well welcome to my world. I always feel like I'm being labeled without my permission. I know this is a judgemental world and trust me I'm guilty of it too, but only in my head. We all have our predjudice due to past experiences or horrible stereotypes but some people are more vocal about it. I speak my mind and express myself but I give people a chance. It's hard to wipe away memories and first impressions because they are very significant, but can I live? Lol funny right? Coming from the high strung, charismatic, and confident girl. But let me let you all in on a secret. I am probobly one of the most misunderstood people walking this earth. Just like you I just want people to appreciate me. And just like you I am unappreciative and underappreciated. If there is one thing I detest it is when people misunderstand me. And boy do many people misunderstand me. It takes time, patience, and wisdom to understand a girl like me. I'm very multifaceted and sometimes I feel like I have multiple personality disorder. I am a mutlitude things. I am not simple I am rather complex. Yet at the same time I am simple. I can be a contradiction and an oximoron. People do not have the patience to sit, wait, and understand me. They rather assume and create a label for me. That is one of the most offensive and ignorant things that one can ever do. Trust me once you realize who I am and what I'm about, you will be dumbfounded. At the end of the day you either love me or leave me alone. Don't get me wrong please, I don't need you to love me. I simply want you to respect me. Understand me and make your judgment after that. But please hold your preconcieved notions.

Bottems up

Bottoms up for all the young people doing something productive with their lives.
Yesterday I told my sister that the children are our future. When Whitney said it I was a child myself and didn't really understand the weight of that phrase until recently. The future of the world and all of it's businesses and industries lies in the hands of the new generation. Those being born as I write this and those who are just starting to communicate. Often times I feel that the world is a corrupt place with no hope for a better tomorrow. At the rate of society, I really wonder what will become of this world after I perish. Only God knows and I am confident that he has a plan for each and every one of us. Sometimes I find myself losing hope but never faith. I understand that God puts us through the worst of times just so that we can rejoice when he shows us the best of times. At this point, I'm just allowing God to guide me. There are plenty of things that I want but only God knows what I need. For the longest time I wanted to be a student at the University of Maryland College Park. I felt as though that school was the only place for me. The location, it's reputation, and it's diverse student body drew my attention to it. I told myself that I would be a student there if it's the last thing I do. Well God has a different plan for me, because I was not accepted there. Maybe I was in it for all the wrong reasons. Maybe God is punishing me, or maybe he has bigger and better plans for me. Only he knows. I'm thankful that one of the leading public research institutions has accepted me though. Rutgers University to be exact. Hopefully God will allow me to follow my dreams of majoring in Public Relations and come up with a way for my parents to afford that expensive ass school lol. Or maybe he won't and I'll just have to suck it up. I'm not too sure. Once I found out that I was not accepted I was very sad. My mood was shot and I laid in bed trying to figure out why I wasn't good enough for them. Until I realized that I had to snap out of it. No admissions committee is going to alter my mood and perception about my achievements and success. I've worked hard and I'm going to continue to work hard. I'm too intelligent, strong, and fly to be depressed lol. I will succeed at anything and everything I put my mind to. I'm not going to sweat the small stuff anymore I promise.
"Only God can judge me so either love me or leave me alone."

I'm saying this to wake you up

I wanted to dedicate a post to a friend of mine who recently "broke up" with her boyfriend. This isn't only for her though, its for all other ladies and gentlemen who have cut things off with their significant other.

I swore to my friend that her and her boyfriend would get married but she has lost hope due to their break up. I on the other hand am still thoroughly convinced that they will find their way back to each other. I for one am the anti-relationship enthusiast but when I recognize authentic love I am the biggest supporter. Ladies and gentlemen if there is one piece of advice I can give to you all it is to never get too comfortable. A relationship that hasn't been sealed by God is not an official relationship. And even when couples do tie the knot there is seldom any certainty. However I believe that it is safer to be wedded before you get too comfortable. The thing that young couples refuse to recognize and comprehend is that at such a young age they cannot expect their significant other understand all of their needs and desires. Men and women are not made the same way. Females develop and understand things quicker than their male counterparts. Therefore girls, it is highly unlikely that your boyfriend will recognize when there is trouble in paradise. As females, we want our boyfriend to read our minds and immediately grasp when there is something wrong. But it's not like that. It would be really amazing if it were but nothing in life is perfect. Perfection is unattainable so give your boyfriend a break. Although he may not deserve one, it's not his fault. I'm not taking any sides here but I think that ladies put too much in the relationship. A relationship is 50/50 no exceptions. One person should not be putting in more effort than the other. This goes for a relationship not for courting though lol. In another post of mine I made it clear than a guy should put more effort in the dating process. It's pretty complicated but it takes time to understand lol. Anyway ladies if you feel that you are not being appreciated than it's time that you let your boyfriend know. If he refuses to listen, than it's time to let your boyfriend go. If he doesn't realize that you are a Queen and he should be appreciative and happy to have you, than it isn't worth it. I've been in similar situations and it took me a while to realize that I wasn't bound and obligated to stay in the relationship. While some may believe that each person has a soul mate, I'm a bit skeptical. Maybe I just haven't met my match yet,who knows? Gentlemen please try to collaborate with your girls. Don't do anything that you know she wouldn't like. Call her to tell her she is beautiful and you appreciate her. The small things are the ones that count. She doesn't NEED diamonds and pearls she simply needs your love and affection. It will be a painful situation if you let the best thing you have become the best thing you had. It pains me that many of my friends let thier boyfriends alter thier moods. Maybe I'm just insensitive but I would not allow anybody to have me depressed.Life is way too short! While you are crying about him hes laughing with somebody else.I know it sounds harsh but it is the painful truth. Gentlemen have enough respectfor your ex to not move on quicker than you can say goodbye. Have compassion and understanding to realize that your girl is hurting and she misses you.DON'T be the douch bag that I mentioned in a previous post that boasts about being newly single. Not only do you appear to me immature but you will only get the attention of selfish females who have no respect for themselves, you, or your ex girlfriend. Break ups can be tough especially for the person who put more into the relationship.Which is why you should never put 70 while your significant other is putting 30. NEVER, IDC HOW MUCH YOU LOVE THAT PERSON! In the end you will simply be hurting and left with all the cuts. You don't know what you have until it's gone but try to recognize it when you already have it in the palm of your hands. As bad as this sounds ladies and gentlemen wait until you are in your early twenties to be in a committed relationship. Until then enjoy your youth and all of the perks that come with it. Relationships can be stressful and unneccessary.Don't be the person that constantly needs to be in a relationship, its rather unattractive. We only have one life to live.Live and learn. Love and laugh. Experience and understand. & BEST of all Fly and Let fly.

Talent at it's finest

You guys already know that here on andallthatg0od_stuff blog I like to showcase and share anything that is talented, beautiful, and inspiring and this boy right here embodies all of these things. He is extremely talented and not to mention extremely attractive! I hope he gets discovered ASAP. The industry needs more R&B vocalists!

Hey!

Hey darlings! I know I haven't posted in a while so please forgive me. I've been busy with school and such but now that I'm on vacation I'm gonna try to fulfill all of you're posting desires lol. Ok so I'm on the pursuit of trying to loosen my moral constraints a lil bit. Don't be worried, I'm still going to be the same moralistic Murielle just with a little more of a laid back approach. Life is too short for me to not have all the fun that my morals and values will allow. This should be fun and exciting, it was last week lol ;)

Get over yourself please!

Am I the only one who thinks that it is entirely disrespectful for a guy to blast that he is newly single? Acting extremely childish and rash, posting status after status about how he wants the ladies to "holler at him". Well first of all any respectful female will not "holler at you" and secondly you need to grow up. If I were the girl who you just broke up with I would be livid. In that case the whole relationship was built on a rocky foundation. I just feel sorry for the girl and the boy quite frankly. Like damn. DAMN! Don't be a douch bag...that will not get you anywhere. And what bothers me the most is that often times these girls get back with these kind of guys. WTH? Have you no self esteem and morals? Which brings me to my next point. I HATE when girls jump from one guy to the next. I'm sure each of you know that girl who NEEDS to be in a relationship. The one who gets dumped, cries a river, and moves on to the next only to start the pattern again? I know this girl and it BOTHERS me soo much. UGH I feel like I'm venting right now. Let me stop.
