Just as the month of pride is dwindling, same sex couples really have something to celebrate. After decades of mistreatment and inequality, the gay lesbian and bisexual community have the opportunity to be happily married in the state of New York. Following months of congress discussion and bill rejection, Friday made it official for the New York state to allow marriages of all sexual orientations. I am very happy for gays and lesbians! They can finally make their wedding plans in New York. And of course at today's parade they can proudly march down the streets of Greenwhich Village and all other neighborhoods.
