As of early this morning, a 8.9 magnitude earthquake hit Japan and left many dead and injured. Other places such as Hawaii and California were affected by a tsunami also. Communication is almost impossible and many Japanese Americans are concerned about their family and friends. It has only been a year since the earthquake in Haiti and now this. My prayers and condolences go out to all those affected by both earthquakes and the tsunami.
