BALLING!

Last night the season 3 premiere of VH1's Basketball Wives aired!!  And because I had already enjoyed the sun at the beach with my sister, I decided that I was going to stay in. I was too tired to frolic and "bbq hop" any way. Thus, I was able to watch the premier in it's entirety. Where should I begin? The drama? The wardrobe? or The new wife? Yea you already know I'm going to start with the drama lol.

C. Intelligent and hood Tammy wants a law suit

Lol notice how I applied my acquired philosophy knowledge and put the drama into premise/conclusion form.

I understand where both ladies featured in the first premise are coming from. Tammy feels as though Evelyn is taking the "Evelyn sleeping with Kenny" drama too lightly. And I agree!  Tammy said it best, "Evelyn lacks moral foundation" and she also lacks integrity, respect for herself, respect for Tammy and design skills; those T-shirts were NOT cute lol. I'm not trying to defame Evelyn's name here because she already did that on many occasions. I do believe that Tammy has reason to be annoyed and angered by Evelyn's actions but that doesn't mean that Tammy is totally innocent herself.

The way Tammy goes about things is totally wrong. She needs to learn how to move in silence and bring the ghetto down a couple of notches. Having lunch with Suzy, telling Suzy she is going to "sue the bitch (Evelyn) and showing up at Dulce was not an appropriate way to go about her business. I'm not sure that Tammy has a profitable case on her hands, but I guess it's worth a shot. I mean she does need any money she can get lol. But I believe that Tammy failed to realize that attorney fees and the entire litigation process are very stressful and expensive. We'll see though, I doubt she will go through with the law suit once she comes to her senses.

Continuing with the drama, let's discuss the new wife. Shall we?

Mrs.Meeka Claxton, wife of retired NBA baller Speedy Claxton. She's a cute girl and she has a career. The reason she is on the show is because she is a realtor belonging to a "Allure Realty Group". I respect her grind. She clearly understands the importance of not relying on her husband's retirement fund. However, based on last night's episode I don't believe she understands the importance of remaining neutral on the drama spectrum. She also seems to have verbal diarrhea because she could not keep her mouth shut. She met with Shaunie and had a modest talk about her reason for being in town. Then she met with Jen and thought it would be ok to talk about Eric. SMH. After that she met with Royce and didn't know what an appropriate conversation would be because she talked about Royce's dance career and the stereotypes that come along with being an NBA dancer. SMH. Then she went on to have dinner with Evelyn, Jen, and Shaunie. That's when her verbal diarrhea was really a factor which had the ladies confused and annoyed. Meeka seems to want to fit in with Evelyn and Jen but we'll see how far she will go to fit in. She's already started off on the wrong foot!

Last but not least, let's talk the first episode's fashion!

You guys know I love to discuss style, fashion and beauty! And a couple of the Basketball wives are known for their great and expensive style while a couple of them are known for their lack of outfit coordination and cheap clothing. I must say that Jen was looking better than ever and was killing the game last night. I guess it's because I've always been a fan of her style, but she was looking very glamorous. Jen's style isn't too over the top and a lot of her outfits can be emulated and executed without a hefty pocket.  I think that her and Evelyn are the reason why I've taken an interest into huge "hanging" earrings lol. Surprisingly, their earlobes are not sliced even though they wear huge earrings all the time! As for Evelyn, she was looking cute but she needs to take it down a couple of notches with the make up! She packs it on way too much for no reason, and she is starting to look older! I'm pretty sure Shaunie is older than her but it totally looks the other way around lol. Speaking of Shaunie, her attire was looking very age appropriate and well put together on last night's episode. As for Tammy, she has made great progress but still has a ways to go. I understand that she has kids to take care of and she isn't accustomed to being glamorous.But she is trying and I give her a B for effort. Her hair still needs work, and I believe that she may want to consult with a stylist. Last and very least is Royce. This girl really needs a stylist more than Tammy does! Her wardrobe reflects that of a young, immature, and blind girl from the block. lol I know I may be going a little hard but Royce needs HELP! My sisters and I do not have half the money that Royce does but we still manage to dress better than her all the time. SMH.

I can't wait for next week's episode, it should be juicy!!
